More About Me
I'm Erin Groves, a REALTOR? with ERA Wilder Realty serving Columbia, Forest Acres, Lexington, Blythewood, and communities throughout the South Carolina Midlands. Over the past four years, I've built my business around one simple philosophy: when clients understand the process, they make better decisions.
Real estate is never just about buying or selling a house. Every client has different goals, challenges, and priorities, which is why I never believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether I'm helping a first-time buyer purchase their first home, guiding a family relocating to the Columbia area, navigating the complexities of a probate or estate sale, assisting with new construction, or helping an investor evaluate opportunities, my job is to create a strategy that fits their situation.
I genuinely enjoy the research behind real estate. Pricing a home accurately, analyzing market trends, studying neighborhoods, and matching buyers with communities that fit their lifestyle are some of my favorite parts of the job. I love solving problems, finding creative solutions, and making what can feel overwhelming become manageable.
Before becoming a REALTOR?, I spent more than 20 years coaching volleyball, an experience that shaped the way I work today. Coaching taught me how to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and help people build confidence through education. Those same skills guide every client relationship.
My husband, Chris, and I have called Forest Acres home for more than 15 years, where we're raising our three children, Maddox, Ryker, and Evelyn, alongside our two standard poodles, Mr. Pickles and Bonnaroo. When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me coaching volleyball at AC Flora, playing tennis, cheering on my kids at their sporting events, or planning our next family trip.
For me, real estate is about more than a transaction. It's about helping people confidently move into the next chapter of their lives with a trusted advisor by their side.
